Company

Always at the forefront
since 1989.

A Portuguese foundry that turned 37 years of craftsmanship and engineering into propellers sailing all over the world.

Our story

Ever since it was established in 1989, Fundilusa has never stopped growing, and its propellers now sail all over the world.

Just in the first decade of the 21st century, its turnover increased eight-fold. Today the group averages more than 1,500 FP propellers, more than 1,000 CPP blades and more than 200 hubs, caps and other components a year, totalling around 2,000 tons of finished castings, in bronze and stainless steel, establishing the company as a leader in the marine industry for a broad range of solutions for FPP and CPP systems.

Inside Fundilusa

The work that happens before the metal.

A propeller is decided long before it is poured: in the commercial office where the agreement is written, in engineering where it is modelled and simulated, and in quality where it is signed off. The foundry is only the loudest part of the building.

Behind the two plants is one team that owners and shipyards deal with directly, from the first enquiry to the delivery note.
